Custom Your Safety Glass
Safety glass is a general term that refers to all glass that can meet safety standard requirements.
This type of glass is not broken by violent vibration or impact, even if it is broken, it is not easy to hurt people. Used for doors and windows of automobiles, airplanes and special buildings, etc.
Generally speaking, safety glass mainly refers to the following types of glass:
- Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is also called Toughened glass. when Tempered glass is broken, crumble into small granular chunks of similar size instead of jagged shards. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury. This type of glass has High Strength and Heat Stability.
- Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is composed of two or more pieces of glass with one or more layers of organic polymer inter layer film between them. After a special high-temperature pre-pressing (or vacuum) and high-temperature and high-pressure process, the glass and the inter layer are made permanent. It’s a type of Composite glass.
- Bullet-proof Glass
It’s a type of composite glass that is made of tempered glass, chemically reinforced glass, wire (mesh) glass, and high-strength organic materials (such as oriented plexiglass, polycarbonate, etc.), and laminated technology. According to different requirements, different materials can be selected to form different composite structures to achieve the performance of resisting bullet shooting generally used in buildings and border observation posts with special bulletproof or anti-theft requirements.
- Fire-proof Glass
Fire-proof glass refers to a kind of transparent gel condensed between two pieces of glass. The gel decomposes and absorbs a lot of heat when it encounters high temperatures. So the glass can be kept from breaking temporarily and prevent the spread of fire. It is generally used for fire partitions or fire escapes in buildings. In addition, glass hollow bricks and wire (mesh) glass also have a certain fire prevention effect.
- Wire mesh Glass
Wire mesh glass is also called wire glass. This type of Glass is in which metal wires (mesh) are embedded during rolling molding. When the glass is broken, its fragments are still hanging on the wire (mesh) without falling. In case of fire, it can prevent the flame from spreading in a short time, delay the expansion of the fire, and can be used as the window and smoke partition of the fire-proof building.
